 *Special Announcement* - "Talk to a Lawyer Today": A Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. 

About: The Volunteer Lawyer Program of Northeast Indiana in conjunction with the Indiana State Bar Association is sponsoring "Talk to a Lawyer  Today," a program to provide free legal consultations for those who cannot afford counsel. The program will be Monday, January 16, 2017 as an annual tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Although geared toward low income individuals, it is open to the public without regard to income. 

Service: Attorneys will provide free 10 to 15 minute consultations to answer general questions and offer legal information for those who utilize this service. This is advice only, not legal representation. 

When: January 16, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Where: Allen County Public Library Downtown, 900 Library Plaza, Fort Wayne, IN.

  • On January 19, 2017, Judge Thomas J. Felts gave a presentation on Protection Orders at the General Jurisdiction Orientation for new judges. 

    Magistrate John Kitch III recently completed a two day seminar: Financial Statements in the Courtroom, in Philadelphia, PA through the National Judicial College.  

    On October 20, 2016, Magistrate Andrea R. Trevino was named "Principal for a Day" at her alma mater, South Side High School.
